Privacy Policy

1. What this policy covers

This policy covers the TwiddleLabs website (twiddlelabs.com) and the interactive courses linked from it. It explains what personal data we process, why, and the rights you have under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

2. What we collect

When you visit the website

• We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels or any other tracking.
• You don’t need an account, and we don’t ask for your name or email to browse.
• Our hosting provider, Vercel Inc., automatically records standard technical data in server logs — IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time — so it can deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We don’t combine this with anything else or use it to identify you.
• Fonts and images on this website are served from our own domain, so your browser isn’t sent to third parties to load them.

When you use a course

• Courses run in your browser without an account. We don’t collect names, answers or progress.
• What you drag, type or click in a scene stays in that browser tab and is gone when you close it.

When you email us

• Your name, email address, institution and role, and whatever you write.
• Any teaching materials you share — slides, syllabi, notes — which may contain names of faculty or other personal data.

3. Why we use it

• To reply to you and discuss a course.
• To build, review and deliver a course from the materials you send.
• To keep the website running and secure.
• To meet legal obligations, such as tax and accounting records for paid work.

We process your data because you gave it to us for that purpose, or because we need it to provide something you asked for. We never sell personal data, and we don’t use it for advertising.

4. Who we share it with

• Service providers that run our infrastructure: Vercel (website and course hosting) and our email provider. They process data only on our instructions.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.
• A successor, if Earthling Aidtech or TwiddleLabs is ever merged or sold, under the same protections.

Some of these providers store data outside India, including in the United States. Where that happens we rely on their contractual safeguards.

5. How long we keep it

We keep emails and course materials for as long as we’re working with you and for a reasonable period afterwards to support the course. You can ask us to delete them sooner. Hosting logs are kept by Vercel under its own retention schedule, typically days to weeks.

6. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can:

• ask what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
• ask us to correct, complete or update it;
• ask us to erase it, or withdraw consent you gave earlier;
• nominate someone to exercise these rights for you;
• raise a grievance with us, and then with the Data Protection Board of India if you’re not satisfied.

Email services@earthlingaidtech.com to use any of these. We’ll reply within 30 days.

7. Students and children

Our courses are used by college students. Because they don’t require an account or collect personal data, we don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, tell us and we’ll delete it.

8. Security

The site is served only over HTTPS. Materials you send are kept in access-controlled accounts and used only by the people building your course. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share.

9. Grievance Officer

For any concern about how we handle personal data, write to our Grievance Officer at services@earthlingaidtech.com with “Privacy grievance” in the subject. Earthling Aidtech, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

10. Changes

If we change how we handle data — for example, if we ever add analytics — we’ll update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
